To most quickly determine an article's status as a peer-reviewed (or refereed) source, search in Ulrich's Periodicals Directory for the title of the journal that article appears in. If you see a referee jersey next to the journal listing, you'll know it's a peer-reviewed publication.

Refworks allows you to create a personal database of references and automatically generate formatted bibliographies for your projects.
