If you’ve been researching a topic and want to keep the Library OneSearch results you’ve found, you can email them to yourself! You have two options-- you can email an individual result, or you can save several and send them all at once. We’ll take a look at sending an individual result first.
On the search results page, you’ll see a set of icons in the upper right corner of each listed item:
Click on the envelope icon. You’ll see a window pop up:
Enter a valid email address and click the Send button. You should receive an email with a link to your search result within a few minutes. Keep in mind, though, that this will send you a link to the item listing-- NOT the item itself, even if it’s an online article. To download an article, you’ll need to follow the link to the article page and download it there.
If you have several results and you’d like to send them in a single email instead of many, you have the option to pin items to your favorites list. Click the pin button on the upper right corner of the result to save it:
To send your favorites all together, open your favorites list by clicking on the pin icon in the upper right corner of the search page:
Check the box at the top of the list to select all of your saved items at once, then select the icon with three dots to see a few more options:
This opens the same window you'll see when you send an individual result. Enter a valid email address and click Send. You’ll receive an email with your list of items within a few minutes.
