Finding articles on French literature

The best solution is to use the MLA Bibliography database.

MLA Bibliography is the best database for books, articles and other sources published on modern languages, literatures, folklore, and linguistics.
If you're interested in articles on a specific work of French literature,
  • enter the exact title of the work in the search box.
  • Or you can use the "author's work" search option (at the bottom of the screen):

In the author's work field, enter the title - Example: 
  • Madame Bovary
  • Le Rouge et le Noir

If you're looking for articles on an author,
  • enter his or her name in the search box.
