Appropriateness

Questions to ask about APPROPRIATENESS:


    Who is the intended audience for the information?
    Does the level of information presented match your level of
    research?
    What is the objective of the information?
    Is the information presented without bias?
    Are there multiple viewpoints presented?

If appropriate, limit your search to only show results from scholarly publications.

In the database:
Read the abstract, paying close attention to the vocabulary used in the text. This is a good way to determine if the article is at an appropriate level for your research.
